Much of the information on these pages originates from the Freaks mailing list. If the info is incorrect, don't blame me, correct me.
If you can't read this, it might be because our PC-bridge or the web server is down. It hasn't really happend in some time, but that doesn't prove anything. Other possibilities include your monitor being flaky, your not having loaded appropriate web browsing software, your being elsewhere or blind. I am probably as sorry as unable to fix your problem.
Due to the course of history, some pages here may be a bit Netscape-inclined, but i have tried to make them compatible with current standards. I use Opera, Netscape6, Mozilla and IE6 (though not simultaneously) when i dev these pages and i try to make them work on all these platforms. It ain't always easy :)
Of course i should make a new and nifty framework to handle all these pages, but i can never find the proper time for it. I would love a dynamic, cross-platform, frameless thingamajing with support for XML, RDF, communities, many site contributors and all that. I could make one, but that means i'd have to redo a whole lot of stuff from scratch. And when i'm not busy, i'm lazy.
According to some Geneva convention that i cannot quote, written text is copywrited stuff. If you wrote it, you probably own it. This also applies to any text written to the Net.
I have copied a lot of information from the net to these pages, often even not mentioning the originator. I know this is wrong, but i have done this in good faith, naievety or just because once (in the days of old), it was the Net Way. One day, i might clean out all the stuff that i don't have the proper right to publish. In any case, all copyright of anything on this site is owned by the person who originally wrote it.
If you find text here, which you know you've written, please tell me that you are the person to be credited (and allow me to use your material), and i'll add your name to your article. If you don't want to have your text available here, i'll remove it.
According to Finnish copyright laws, text and pictures may (to a certain extent) be copied for personal and non-commercial use. I believe that similar copyright laws exist otherwhere, but i can of cource not be sure.
So, i leave the responsibility in your hands -- if it's illegal to copy copywrited material where you are, don't do it. If you still do, you're the sole responsible for your actions, not me. Don't come whining for a new door to replace the one the feds kicked in. Remember -- it's you who followed the link, not me.
